The Seiko Quartz Type II was Seiko's declaration that quartz wasn't just a movement — it was a platform for a new kind of watch design. Introduced in the late 1970s, the Type II designation signaled a refined second generation of Seiko's quartz engineering, housed in a case that balanced sport and dress with quiet authority.

Special Note: Wearing its original Seiko bracelet — a wide five-row jubilee-style steel that drapes with weight and presence, each link brushed to a consistent satin finish that has held beautifully over the decades. The case is completely unpolished, preserving every original surface and the sharp geometry of the stepped lugs. The white dial is immaculate — slim applied baton indices, a day-date window at 3 o'clock displaying both day and date, and the Type II designation printed below the Seiko logo in a font that feels completely of its era. Very clean, very collectible, and increasingly hard to find in this condition.
