As a full-time artist, I’ve always been obsessed with color.
As a full-time watch collector, I’ve always been obsessed with the neo-vintage era.
Working toward launching my own watch brand, I thought it’d be slick to combine both passions as an interim step.
Each rare stone dial is one-of-a-kind, meticulously handcrafted and assembled by world-class artisans, then fitted to the original movement and one of my favorite neo-vintage era Seiko cases.
This particular piece — the Seiko 5030-6090 — features a tiger’s eye stone dial, known for its dynamic golden and brown bands that shimmer and shift with every movement. The natural chatoyancy of the stone gives it a sense of warmth and motion, balanced perfectly by the clean lines of the brushed stainless steel case and bracelet.
Each piece of wearable art is signed Demir — a mark of authenticity and individuality, born from passion and crafted to be passed on.
