Seiko started in 1881 in Tokyo and never stopped. One of the longest-running watchmakers on earth, still producing, still relevant, still the brand that quietly outclassed everyone else before anyone wanted to admit it.
This one is a rectangular quartz dress piece from the late '70s — that era when Seiko was doing things with case geometry and dial color that nobody else was touching. Beveled rectangular case with gold-tone accents, pyramid stud hour markers, dagger hands, and a dial that is straight-up midnight navy. Not light blue, not blue-grey — navy. The kind of depth that hits different under any light. Original flex expansion bracelet, wears slim and clean.
