Seiko Quartz

Seiko's cushion-square quartz pieces from the late 1970s represent some of the most considered design work of the era — cases that felt architectural without being aggressive, and dials that rewarded a closer look. This one is a strong example of both.

Special Note: Wearing its original Seiko bracelet — a wide, flat five-row jubilee-style in all brushed steel, with a consistent satin finish that has held beautifully over the decades. The fold-over Seiko clasp is engraved in brushed steel, clean and secure. The case is completely unpolished, preserving every original surface and the soft geometry of the cushion shape. The dial is the standout — a warm off-white with a fine linen texture that catches light differently depending on the angle, slim baton indices, a day-date window at 3 o'clock displaying the day in Japanese kanji, and a small decorative emblem at 6 o'clock that adds a quiet, distinctive finishing touch. A well-preserved piece with a dial that earns a second look.
