A late 1970s Seiko quartz dress watch built around one of the more architecturally interesting case designs of the era. The rectangular steel case features a deeply chamfered crystal edge — a beveled transition between the flat crystal and the case wall that catches light at a sharp angle and gives the watch a sculptural quality from the side that most pieces from this period simply don't have.
The case sides alternate between brushed and polished surfaces, with the factory finishing fully intact — no refinishing, no blending. The white dial is clean and minimal: slim baton indices, no numerals, slim hands. The original flat brushed steel bracelet is the correct issue for this reference, with a low-profile deployment clasp that sits flush against the wrist.
