Two names on one watch. Baume & Mercier has been running out of Switzerland since 1830 — still very much alive, now under the Richemont group, and still one of the most respected houses in the game.
LeRoy is a different story: 18th-century French horology that got licensed as a fashion label in the 1970s and '80s, stamped on a handful of genuinely special Baume & Mercier cases before disappearing.
This one has no business being this good-looking. Round case, coin-edge gold bezel with Le Roy repeated four times around the circumference. There's a reason these ended up in private collections instead of back in the market. Now one of them is here.
