The Santos is my all time favorite — I've owned many, and unfortunately sold many. This one has been accompanying my wrist for over a decade. I scooped this after landing my first big boy job, and it's been earning its keep every single day since.
Personally I think the medium is the best size. It wears sporty but still keeps that Cartier dress vibe ready at all times. Best thing about this watch is the rubber runner — so comfortable, easy to adjust, and if you throw a leather strap on it, the watch is now formal ready. It does both and it doesn't apologize for either. Your mom would absolutely ask to borrow it.
