We arrived at the sushi restaurant, something felt right. We sat down, our first official date, dressed fashionably in all black, the foreshadowing, the inevitable end, nine years to come. 

The first thing I ask was do you like sake, the cocktail arrived, warm ambers, sake base, a cherry and flavors to match.
